How do I save PNG type files? Empty How do I save PNG type files?

I've had this problem for a while now, when I encounter a png picture that I like (like on Deviant Art) and that I try to save it, the file name turns to blank and all I get is a single white pixel. Why does it do that and how can I make it stop? Can anyone help? Shame

Hey guys, I found out a way to bypass that problem on DA. If the png picture you're trying to save has a download option on the left, you can right click on download and save target as to save it as a png (if you just click on download, you'll get a bitmap version of the picture). This works for me.

But if the pic can't be downloaded, you have to use print screen and paste it on paint.
